EOL Electronics into non-polluting power and profit
Unlike incineration, the proprietary low-heat pyrolysis method we use to recover valuable materials and create synthetic gas from electronic waste, produces virtually no toxic or hazardous byproducts. No dioxins or furans are released into the atmosphere because we operate in an oxygen-free environment. And no toxic tar is produced in our unique "cracking" reactor either, just hi-grade carbon char. This makes our system safe from both an environmental and a worker perspective.
The Thermolyzer process can recover more than half of the gold, silver, palladium and other precious metals in any e-waste stream.
We are also very efficient at extracting copper, lead, aluminum, and other common metals used in the manufacture of electronic devices.
Our unique process can also reclaim rare-earth elements now considered to be “critical” global metals.
Processing an e-waste stream can produce enough of a synthetic, "natural gas" equivalent to self-sustain the entire operation.
Our process protects both the local and global environments, as well as the long-term health of recovery workers.
Every ton of e-waste can yield a return of $10-20,000, making e-waste recovery a potential TRILLION dollar industry.
Although E-materials Recovery, LLC is a young company, each of our leaders has decades of business or engineering experience.
"Ernie" is an accomplished inventor, product developer, merchandiser, and entrepeneur with dozens of successful products and start-up companies to his credit.
View MoreChuck's financial and managerial expertise with technology-based start-up companies combined with 45 years of experience with waste-to-energy conversion, polymers, and nono-materials will give us the edge we need to succeed in the e-waste recovery market.
View MoreWith an MSE from Germany's prestigious Technical University of Darmstadt, Ullrich has extensive practical eperience in gasification and holds key patents in the pyrolytic conversion of bio-mass waste to synthetic fuel.
View MoreWith a doctorate in chemistry from Purdue University Dr. Brandhorst combines his extensive knowledge of carbon-free fuel alternatives with his skills in systems engineering and program management to position EMRLLC as a leader in e-waste recovery.
View MoreThere are a lot of "pie-in-the-sky" e-waste recovery companies in the marketplace today. Although their technology may look good on paper, it either doesn't work in the real world, has serious environmetal consequences, or simply can't be scaled up for commercial operation. Our zero-pollution prototype plant has been operating successfully and continuously in Germany for 14 years.
No furans, dioxins, brominated flame retardants, heavy metals or other hazardous substances are released during the recovery process.
Tar is reduced to safe and sellable hi-grade carbon char. Our conversion process uses virtually 100% of your e-waste stream.
Once the recovery process is started, it can run continuously 24/7/365 with minimal maintenance.
The recovery process produces enough syn-gas to fully fuel the turbines and reactor.
We make profitable, environmentally responsible e-waste recovery processing plants.
The gasifier reactor processes feedstock on a continuous basis, producing syn-gas 24/7, which is also used to fuel the reactor's gas turbine.
The only emissions from our conversion process are syn-gas, minimal char, and burner exhaust that meets CA's tough emission standards.
Our process recovers more than 50% of the precious metals found in the e-waste stream, which is much more than competing systems.
Our units operate at low pressure and at low temperature as well, so workers never have to contend with molten or corrosive products or hazardous fumes.
All recovery centers are designed from the ground up using certain modular components in order to best suit your particular needs and minimize construction costs.
Every facility we build is custom-designed to suit your exact needs. Whether you are a privately held company, a major corporate enterprise, an arm of the military, a municipality, or a national government... we can build a profitable, pollution-free e-waste conversion facility for you. We will also design your facility to architecturally blend with the landscape, so it won't be an industrial eyesore.
Our plants utilize Thermolyzer technology (oxygen-free/low heat pyrolysis) and continuous gasification to maximize recovery of valuable materials and the production of clean burning biofuel. The conversion processes we use are the latest, most efficient, and profitable in the industry. They have been field-proven with a facility in Germany that has been operating continuously for the past 14 years. Plants are also worker friendly, pollution-free, and do not require highly sophisticated personnel to run them.
Completion bonds are avilable to insure plants are built on time and to specification. In many cases we can also assist in funding your project. In most situations local construction workers (overseen by our field engineers) can complete much of the plant assembly, since many components are modular in design. Designed this way plants can be fully operational in an amazingly short period of time.
